A scientifically produced tincture.
CBD
Cannabidiol is a healing component of the Cannabis plant with proven medical benefits. It is an uplifting, natural analgesic that relieves pain and symptoms such as depression, nausea and lethargy and improves concentration. CBD is an antioxidant with neuro-protective properties. Non-psychoactive, CBD is the balancing component to THC.

Digestive delivery
The Alta California tinctures can be taken in a drink, with the correct dosage mixed in a liquid. Alkaloids are absorbed into the blood stream via the digestive system. Digestive delivery is not as fast as sublingual, but the results are deeper and long lasting (4-6 hours).

THC
Tetrahydrocannibinol is the euphoric component of the Cannabis plant with proven medical benefits. It has analgesic properties and has been shown to stimulate appetite, relieve chronic pain and lethargy. THC has psychoactive properties and is used sometimes to stimulate creativity.
Tincture
The word tincture comes from the Latin word tintura meaning colored herbal extract made with alcohol. Tinctures deliver nutrients in stable, soluble form, optimal for assimilation.
Tranquility Tincture
One of the three Alta California tinctures, Tranquility is a balanced blend of 50% CBD and 50% THC.
Sublingual delivery
Using a spray or dropper, the patient applies the tincture under the tongue. Active herbal alkaloids are absorbed quickly into the blood stream through the mucous system. The remaining alkaloids are absorbed via the digestive system. Sublingual delivery is fast, producing a smooth, gentle experience lasting 2-3 hours.
